There is an increasing number of women, especially at a younger age, who have cardiovascular disease. One in three women dies of cardiovascular disease. In order to raise awareness of frequent preventive cardiovascular examinations and cardiovascular screening, the action “Red Alarm for Female Heart Health” is being implemented in the framework of which University Clinics of Cardiology performs examinations and 15 five found high blood pressure and increased blood fat.

– Cardiovascular disease is eight times more likely to cause death among women than breast cancer. We organized the action to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women. Our recommendation is physical activity, weight loss, eating proper nutrition… One of the factors for cardiovascular disease is stress, Dr. Zimbakov added.
