SDSM is spreading hate speech and anti-Semitism in panic over the imminent election defeat. Attacks by SDSM officials on the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Rasela Mizrahi on a religious and national basis because she is Jewish is an example of hate speech, VMRO-DPMNE MP Zaklina Pesevska told at today’s press release.

She responded to a statement by Mersiha Smailovic, a member of the SDSM’s Labor and Social Policy Committee, and concluded that she, in “Hitler’s Nazi style” called on VMRO-DPMNE’s additional Labor and Social Minister, Rasela Mizrahi to be “marked with the Star of David because she is Jewish”.

“SDSM is calling for the marking and lynching of Macedonian Jews such is Rasela Mizrahi”, Pesevska said.

She pointed out that the statement of the abovementioned Smailovic is not the only case in the ranks of SDSM on the same issue.

“The activist of the so-called Colorful Revolution Vidana Boskova Micevska in the style of Smailovic called VMRO-DPMNE a fascist party, and Rasela Mizrahi a Jew who works with the Nazis. Zaev’s advisor, Zoran Bojarovski, likes this hate speech on social media, which is paid by popular support for anti-Semitism and hatred among citizens. The hate speech spread by the SDSM in the style of the Nazis of the last century must end immediately. Nazism is defeated by the Allies, a fight in which Macedonian partisans contributed and sacrificed, but apparently its roots remained in certain structures in the SDSM, the opposition MP said.

Pesevska pointed out that VMRO-DPMNE will not tolerate anti-Semitism, hate speech on religious and national grounds towards anyone and therefore demands an immediate apology from SDSM and Zoran Zaev for their officials’ hate speech.

“Is this the society of equal citizens that Zaev lied about. Zaev and SDSM urgently stop hate speech. We demand that the government immediately dismiss Zoran Bojarovski from the post of Advisor to the Prime Minister, but also to dismiss Smailovic from her post in the party. If Zaev and SDSM do not take steps towards sanctioning hate speech, it is concluded that anti-Semitism and hate speech is supported and instructed directly from the top of SDSM. Such a division policy will be defeated in the April 12 election. The divide policy is the result of nervousness and fear of defeat. Insults and hate speech are the last phase of the fall of SDSM and Zaev”, Pesevska concluded.
