I would like to inform you that an initiative has been submitted to the Constitutional
Court of the Republic of Macedonia for annulment of the decree with legal force
regarding the payment of large sums of money for former employees of the SPO.
The initiative was submitted yesterday by Nikola Micevski, Coordinator of VMRO-
DPMNE’s parliamentary group, informed VMRO-DPMNE’s Antonio Milososki at
today's press conference.
"The order for payment of money to former employees, officials, investigators in the
SPO has nothing to do with the basis for declaring a state of emergency in the
Republic of Macedonia, and that is the fight against the pandemic and the COVID-19
virus and its health and economic consequences. Therefore, we consider that this
decree is illegal, unconstitutional and contrary to the decrees that the Republic of
Macedonia has ratified as a member of the Council of Europe, "said Milososki.
