Since the new coronavirus was registered in the country, it has infected 247
healthcare workers or 14 percent of the total number (1,762) of diagnosed cases.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Health Minister Venko Filipce said that 91 percent of
healthcare workers who have contracted COVID-19, have fully recovered. “I
commend their courage and commitment. I wish a speedy recovery to everyone,”
Filipce said in a post.
Of the total number of infected in the country – 1,762, so far 1,267 have recovered.
The number of diseased patients is 98. There are currently 397 active cases.
