It is best for politicians not to promise justice reform. The Law on Public Prosecution is catastrophic and there are still many problems, and politicians are looking for quick solutions. This is not possible in this area. The Prosecution Council was nowhere to be found while debating the new law on the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Professor Gordan Kalajdziev said on Alfa TV’s “Sto ne e jasno” show.
According to him, the model in the judiciary, the competence given to the basic courts and the like should be completely reconsidered.
“The judiciary suffers the most in Macedonia. Zaev had an idea, but it turned out that there is no patience for reforms, daily the political needs were different and there was no time for others or experts to decide on this area,” Kalajdziev said.
