The city of Skopje is calling for proposals to build an open air stage in front of the Universal Hall theater, that has been left closed for years.
As the city authorities inform, this area is planned for cultural purposes with the General Urban Plan and the Urban Plan (DUP), so a small open air stage had to be placed, while the rest will be a park.
“The open air stage will have 150 seats and will cover an area of about 400 square meters, and the rest will be a park,” said Nikola Naumovski, head of the Skopje mayor’s office.
He says that the City has not yet made a decision on the location where the new building of the Universal Hall will be built and whether it will be relocated at all.
