The European Commission is monitoring reports from Macedonia regarding scandals related to the director of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility Lidija Dimova, and will demand that all irregular costs incurred by the Erasmus Plus program be reimbursed, according to a written statement to the Alfa TV by Commission spokesperson Susanne Conze.

What I can inform you about at this stage is that the Commission is aware of these allegations regarding the implementation of the Erasmus + program. All such allegations are being pursued and, where EU funding is involved, irregular costs will be identified and will have to be reimbursed. The commission cannot provide details while the monitoring process is in progress,” reads the e-mail sent by the European Commission spokesperson.
