The limitation of working hours until 23:00 will be valid only for hospitality facilities, said Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi at Monday’s press conference.
He pointed out that the Commission for Infectious Diseases has determined that these places are a risk for the spread of the virus, but of course if there is a proposal to limit working hours for other economic operators, it will certainly be considered.
“Yes, it is true that it was initially an announcement for several economic operators, but the Commission for Infectious Diseases is not economically expert to distinguish what is an economic operator and we had a situation of intervention. We pointed out what exactly it refers to and at this moment it assessed that only there should be a limitation from 11 pm and that the risk of spreading the infection is exactly there,” said Bytyqi.
