No further restrictions are planned for the hospitality and tourism sectors in the coming period, considering the information we have from the Commission for Infectious Diseases and the anticipation for the population’s vaccination, said Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi on Monday.

“Currently there are no such discussions in the Government, and as far as I know, neither in the Commission. The Government measures already in place are valid, but restrictions will be relaxed if the number of cases drops. According to the data at disposal, we do not expect further restrictions,” said Minister Bekteshi.

The minister stressed the Ministry and the Government are continually receiving requests for relaxation of the restrictions, while saying that measures should be observed.
