The new restrictive measures that will be valid until January 20 came into force yesterday. They, among other things, limited the operation of hospitality facilities until 6 pm, instead of 9 pm. They, in turn, submitted an initiative to the Constitutional Court to assess the constitutionality of this decision of the Government.

“We are submitting this initiative in order to point out the irregularities of the selective policy towards the hospitality industry, hoping that the Constitutional Court will react quickly and that we will have the opportunity to return to the last working hours next week in order to properly celebrate the New Year holidays,” said NUK president Zdravko Josifovski.

The hospitality association demanded an urgent meeting with the government to discuss new restrictive measures and additional financial assistance to the hospitality sector.
