There are almost no funds from this Budget intended for the coronacrisis, the proposed Budget for Healthcare does not reflect the real situation of crisis and pandemic, so from 2020 the allocated 1.3 billion denars, this year are only 836 million denars for capital investments or a reduction of 36% compared to this year, stressed VMRO-DPMNE MP Dafina Stojanoska at today’s parliamentary debate on the Budget.

The MP says that millions of transfers from the state budget to non-governmental organizations will be spent during a pandemic, when the treatment capacities are not enough, and Macedonia does not have the conditions to provide more beds for COVID-19 patients.

“We are facing another unrealistic and undeveloped budget that is at least popular and civic, this budget will not help the COVID-19 crisis, neither the economy, nor the real sector, with this this government provides 10 million less for capital projects, which means that in 2021 nothing will be built as it was until now, the funds provided for the Agency for Support of Agriculture are reduced, which means that next year the farmers will be deceived by the Government of Zaev. There will be no money for equipping the medical staff next year, as an aid for dealing with COVID-19”, stressed Stojanoska.
