VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski in an interview on the “Prashanjeto e sledno” on the Infomax portal stressed that VMRO-DPMNE is demanding a census with a fingerprint, which will give real statistics, and it is possible because with the same mechanism there should be local elections and it is not clear why it was not procured earlier.

“We suggest having fingerprint terminals. We have a law in which in the next local elections we must procure terminals where the citizens instead of spraying, will come and put their index finger on that terminal and based on that fingerprint, we will practically know if that citizen is here or not. If he is not here for the census when the two enumerators visit him at home, then he will have the opportunity to go within the municipality and have a census there. There is no more relevant indicator than that,” said Mickoski.

He pointed out that SDSM is trying to spread fake news by paying a lot of money to Albanian media to spread theses that VMRO-DPMNE wants to show that there are less than 20% Albanians in the country.
