Hospitality businesses to work until 9 pm starting Thursday, loosening of other measures possible

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev announced on Facebook that the Government made a decision for the hospitality businesses to work until 9 pm, starting from January 21.

“We reviewed the epidemiological directions at today’s government session, and the Government decided that starting from January 21, the hospitality businesses will be open until 9 pm,” said Zaev.

According to this decision, at the same time, the extraordinary restriction of working hours in the hospitality facilities at the gas stations is removed, as well as for the guests accommodated in hotels, motels, hostels and other accommodation facilities, enabling them to work with the regular working hours determined by the law on operation of these hospitality businesses.

At the same time, Health Minister Venko Filipche wrote on Facebook that next week, after analyzing the epidemiological situation in the country, would possible that the measures will be further relaxed, i.e. the working hours of the hospitality business will be until 11 pm.
