Despite the great pressure on the hospitals in the country, which are rapidly being filled with COVID-19 patients, there are still bed available at several clinics, the Kozle Institute for Lung Diseases and the other wards, the Ministry of Health informed on Sunday.
A total of 1,739 patients whose COVID-19 tests came back positive or who are suspected of having contracted the virus are currently being treated in infectious disease wards across the country, including Skopje.
Nearly 220 hospital beds in COVID units are available at the moment, the Health Ministry said Sunday in its daily press release.
