5 deaths, 28 new COVID-19 cases

Out 2,619 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 28 new cases were registered, 23 recovered and 5 people died, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

Three people out of the five deceased are from Skopje (aged 61, 75 and 79) and one each from Kumanovo (45) and Struga (72).

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 155,469 confirmed coronavirus cases. The death toll stands at 5,467. At the moment, there are 451 active cases across the country.
