Two Serbian nationals arrested for transporting 62 migrants in a van

Two Serbian citizens were arrested last night at 11.30 pm on the A-1 highway, near the Javorica tunnels, by police officers from the Police Station for Border Surveillance and Border Crossing Bogorodica, along with police officers from the Republic of Slovenia, after a truck with Serbian national license plates and 62 illegal migrants tried to get away.

The Ministry of Interior informed today that HF ​​(33) and MF (37), both nationals of the Republic of Serbia, were arrested, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of having committed a crime under Article 418 of the Criminal Code.

During the control of a truck Man with Serbian national plates, driven by HF, where as co-driver was MF (37), 62 migrants were found. The driver and co-driver of the vehicle were detained at the Gevgelija Police Station.
