Third forces are trying and are in fact exerting influence, but the question is how much will we allow it, Prime Minister ZoranZaev stated Wednesday when asked whether a third force might take advantage of the period of uncertainty involving the EU integration process.

“I’m concerned about the rise in Euroscepticism and the EU decisions that have allowed it. What is the point of progress reports when after 16 years we are still not making a breakthrough,” Zaev told TV Telma’s Top Tema political show.

He said he will remain reserved regarding progress prospects. “The Slovenian presidency will organize a summit on October 6. We should be hopeful the issue could be solved, it could happen only if the other party stopped looking for excuses,” stated Zaev.
