About two thousand Macedonian companies during 2020 accumulated a total income of an incredible 150 million euros, and all of them have in common that they do not have a single employee.

According to the information, there are such companies from several sectors – electricity trade, information companies, oil business, construction, trade and services.

In order to create favorable conditions for starting businesses (good business climate), Macedonia enables the opening of companies without owning business premises, i.e. without having evidence of using leased office space and without having employees. The logic is to allow them to stand on their own two feet and then start hiring.
