Children will need to have an appointment for COVID-19 vaccination

Children in Macedonia can be vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Friday after their parents/foster parents signed them up for vaccination with Pfizer at vakcinacija.mk from Monday until Thursday, said Health Minister Venko Filipche on Monday.

Appointments will be scheduled depending on the interest shown by people registering because one Pfizer vial contains six doses, explained Health Minister Venko Filipche on Monday.

Vaccination of children aged 12 to 16 with the Pfizer vaccine will start on Friday. This vaccine is currently the only one allowed to be used according to the recommendations of the internal guidelines for this category of children for this age.
