Zaev talks about the diplomatic scandal as an unknown country, says all those who break the law must be held responsible

Regarding the diplomatic scandal, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev says that they will first wait to see the case being conducted in Armenia and then details will be announced. According to him, Armenia is not a neighboring country and politicians do not know much about what happened. He reiterated that the diplomat Mile Milenkovski, for whom an international arrest warrant has been issued. However, all those who break the law at home or abroad must be held responsible, said the Prime Minister.

“The person is our citizen and absolutely for every one of our citizens we stand behind him until it is proven that he committed a crime outside the country. Diplomats do some work at home and some abroad. This diplomat was quite active during the time of VMRO-DPMNE, during the time of Antonio Milososki and Nikola Popovski when he was appointed to the OSCE. All details that will arrive from the aspect of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and justice will be announced,” said Zaev.

The PM reiterated that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
