7 deaths, 168 new COVID-19 cases

The country registered 168 new COVID-19 infections after 1,478 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, seven deaths and 275 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.

Seven deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including four in Skopje (aged 71, 69, 59 and 55) and one each in Veles (67), Strumica (65) and Shtip (77).

At the moment, 5,707 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, N. Macedonia has performed a total of 1,493,451 tests, recording 218,362 COVID-19 cases and 204,960 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,695.
