Macedonian soldier deployed in KFOR dies of heart attack in Kosovo

The General Staff of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia informed that on January 7, in the evening in a hospital in Prishtina, a 44-year-old professional soldier IC died suddenly, who was part of the Macedonian Army contingent in the KFOR mission.

A professional soldier on duty in the security platoon of the KFOR-West Command in Peja fell ill in the afternoon. Immediately by military helicopter, accompanied by military medical personnel, he was sent to the nearest health institution, in the case of a hospital in Pristina, where after the arrival of the staff resuscitation was performed, but after a short time the cause of death was determined as an apparent heart attack.
