Macedonian national football team member Enis Bardhi was sentenced to four months in prison for using a fake driver’s license. Spanish media reveal that Bardhi pleaded guilty and accepted the sentence after the trial in Valencia confirmed that the document was fake.

However, the judge immediately replaced the prison sentence with a two-year suspended sentence, noting that the Macedonian national team member must not commit a new crime in that period.

Bardhi was stopped by Valencia police in a routine check in April last year, after which it was determined that the driver’s license had not been issued to the prescribed standards.
