The average monthly paid net salary per employee in January this year amounted to 29,980 denars and is 6 percent higher than in January, 2021. The average gross salary is 44,762 denars and is 6.1 percent higher than in January, 2021.
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the increase in the monthly net salary is primarily due to the increase in the average monthly paid net salary per employee in the sectors: Accommodation facilities and food service activities by 13.9 percent, Other service activities for 13.8 and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 11 percent.
An increase in the average monthly paid net salary per employee, compared to the previous month, was registered in the sectors: Agriculture, forestry and fisheries by 8.6 percent, Health and social protection activities by 6.6 percent and other service activities by 5 percent.
