The building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is illuminated Saturday night in the colors of NATO on the occasion of tomorrow’s celebration of two years since the country became a full member of the Alliance.
“Being part of the trans-Atlantic family, especially in these times of geopolitical instability, is a significant achievement and a firm guarantee for our security and prosperity,” Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani wrote on Facebook.
According to the foreign minister, Macedonia is at the common table with the most developed democracies in the world and is an active player in global security policies.
“We are united with our NATO partners and determined to jointly respond to the current security challenges posed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and to make our contribution to preserving world peace and stability,” Osmani said.
