Every spark of hope is disintegrated and trampled by the party pressures of the government for emphasized partisanship in the society. Only in our Macedonia, unfortunately, the party booklet has become stronger than the piece of paper that says Diploma for completed higher education, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski in his address before the Union of Youth Forces.
“I don’t say that the state, the government is the only executioner for the future of the youth, but the state apparatus is certainly the loudest killer of the dreams of our young people. The epilogue of this collective self-destruction as a state was seen with this unfortunate and incomplete census,” Mickoski stressed.
The opposition leader pointed out that almost 200 thousand people sought their fortune somewhere outside Macedonia and emigrated and this phenomenon is the same wound for young Macedonians, young Albanians, and young Turks, Roma, Serbs, Vlachs or Bosniaks.
“We must stop the collective self-destruction. We must build a state that offers opportunities for young people. We must tell young people that their dream can be achieved here in their country, and that our common Macedonia is the best guarantee for the realization of their dream. The partisanship of the society must be stopped once and for all,” Mickoski noted.
