Kovachevski is silent about incorporating Bulgarian demands in the EU accession negotiations, just as he was silent and allowed the opening of the club Vancho Mihajlov in Bitola, said MP and member of the VMRO-DPMNE EC Dragan Kovachki at Tuesday’s press conference.
Petkov said: “We cannot expect all the demands of Bulgaria to be met now, before the start of negotiations.
The stupidest thing we can do now is against the Bulgarian interest and we will stumble. Let’s ask for everything we wanted to happen, to happen before the veto is lifted,” Kovachki said.
“With this, Petkov clearly states that he is aware that the Bulgarian demands are maximalist, and thus unrealistic and unacceptable, but he also says that he plans to push them through fragmentation, and their connection with the negotiation process with the EU.
With this, he openly says that Kovachevski accepted the inclusion of Bulgarian demands in the framework of EU accession negotiations.
If the conclusion of the negotiations with the fulfillment of the Bulgarian demands is accepted, then Kovachevski will permanently condemn the state for failure or for more Bulgarianization.
That is why VMRO-DPMNE stresses that written guarantees are needed for the Macedonian identity, language and history. Otherwise, Kovachevski’s amateurism and incompetence will mean disaster for
