Commission for Infectious Diseases recommends lifting of all COVID-19 mandates

The Commission for Infectious Diseases at Wednesday’s meeting recommended lifting of all restrictive measures against COVID-19, except for the face mask mandate in health facilities, pharmacies, public transport and homes for the elderly.

Also, the Commission urges the citizens to respect the recommendations for personal protection and hygiene, such as frequent hand washing, disinfection and keeping distance.

The Commission reminds that vaccination remains the best and most effective measure to protect the health of the population.

The Commission for Infectious Diseases monitors the situation with COVID-19 on a daily basis and if necessary new measures will be recommended.
