The ruling majority is so desperate that it is ready to make even an unprincipled agreement with Bulgaria, only to be able to present it as a success in June, said VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee member Sasho Klekovski in an interview with Sitel TV.

Regarding SDSM’s reactions to the latest IPIS polls which show convincing lead of VMRO-DPMNE and the great trust in opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski, Klekovski replied that in Macedonia it was a practice not to like the results of polls of the party that has less trust among citizens and to discredit them.

Klekovski also referred to the comment made by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, who said that Mickoski’s request for a leaders’ meeting to organize snap elections was blackmail and rejected the offer and said that it was Kovachevski who promised to have a meeting with Mickoski. When one does not want to have a meeting, says Klekovski, then the location, the agenda does not suit them and he said that there must be a meeting because the legitimacy of this government is violated.
