The Independent Trade Union of Professional Soldiers (NSPVM) announces that a strike in front of the Government will start on Sunday. They decided to take this step because, as they say, for two years now the Government has not undertaken any activities for some of the professional soldiers to transfer to another institution.
“According to Article 40a of the Law on Service in the Army, professional soldiers who have reached the age of 45 are transferred to other related institutions. But for 2 years now, the Government has not undertaken any activities for transfer of some of the professional soldiers to another institution. That is why NSPVM undertakes activities with its members and on 22.05.2022 in front of the Government of RSM will set up a tent and sleeping bags along the sidewalk in front of the Government and will stay there until our request is met,” says the Independent Trade Union.
NSPVM called on Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska to support and join the strike.
