Patriarch of Moscow and Seril Kiril welcomed the reunification of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA) with the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC), assessing it as a “significant historical event.”
“I will inform you about such a good and important historical event – the resumption of communication between the Serbian Patriarchate and the Ohrid Archbishopric,” said Patriarch Kirill at a session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, Russian media reported.
Patriarch Kiril noted that this is a long division, which “is finally healed”.
