I absolutely don’t think that snap general elections depend on the start of accession talks. We want, wish and demand that Macedonia start accession talks with the EU, not because of the government, but because the citizens of Macedonia deserve it. On the other hand, the political crisis is so deep, the economic crisis is getting stronger, unfortunately Macedonia is facing a national crisis, VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski said on Sunday.
“So the only solution is snap general elections, especially after the delimitation of the government in the last local elections, which took place in October 2021,” said the VMRO-DPMNE Vice President in an interview with Radio Free Europe.
