Environmental protection remains a burning issue due to growing environmental disasters facing humanity, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs Bojan Marichikj wrote on social media on the marking the World Environment Day on Sunday.
“It is necessary to establish a harmonious relationship that will balance social, economic and environmental factors, in order to preserve the natural wealth of our planet for future generations. Since 2007, a total of 92 projects have been implemented in this area with a total value of over 122 million euros. The leader in the implementation of projects and activities for environmental protection is the Polog region with 23 projects and a value of 5,243,509.41 million euros,” added Deputy Prime Minister Marichikj.
