Court extends detention for 30 days for Gabriel Bajram

Gabriel Bajram, the son of former Roma MP Amdi Bajram, received an extended detention from 8 to 30 days, the Criminal Court decided on Friday.

The suspect of violent acts had previous suspended sentences and is considered a flight risk by the court.

Bajram has been convicted several times for this type of crime and could repeat the crime again.

A criminal charge was filed against Bajram following a fast-track procedure and he was remanded in custody after a few days ago he injured a bartender and destroyed inventory at the “Aquaduct” restaurant on the Slovenija Boulevard in Skopje.

Bajram’s son is also being prosecuted.
