At Thursday’s session, the Government adopted the decision on the introduction of a ban on the export of sunflower seeds. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Ministry of Economy submitted a Decision, with which they proposed limiting the export of new tariff code 1206 00- sunflower seeds, including crushedor minced ones. The term of application of this tariff number will continue to be valid until December 31, 2022.
The reason for the new Decision to limit the export of certain goods with the tariff code 1206 00 – sunflower seeds, is to enable after the end of the harvest, which should begin in the second half of August, and to supply the domestic market and domestic production capacities of edible sunflower oil.
