The system is collapsing in every segment of the country. The latest case for this is in the healthcare department. In Macedonia, the institutions cannot determine for 4 days whether or not there is monkey pox, an infectious disease that is gaining momentum throughout Europe, VMRO-DPMNE accused on Friday.
“A person suspected of having monkeypox has escaped from the hospital, refusing to be tested and they are now trying to contact him. Hence, the logical question is whether this person is not a danger to the health and lives of other people? Could this person spread the disease and thus things get out of hand? It is impermissible for the authorities to shrug off a serious health threat and allow suspected or diseased persons to roam freely and put others in danger. Are they aware that in this way they can cause an epidemic, so instead of preventing it, it will have to be treated, as the people say,” the opposition party points out.
