The school year will start the day after tomorrow for about 255,000 elementary and high school students. For second and fifth grade students, there are new curricula according to the Basic Education Concept, which has been implemented in stages since last year.
For these students, as well as for those from the first and fourth grades, the textbooks will be late due to the change of the curricula which are in various stages of approval.
School lessons from the new 2022/2023 academic year will take place in open schools and without anti-COVID protocols and the obligation to wear protective face masks.
The Ministry of Education and Science announced that in order to maintain continuity, together with the Education Development Bureau, it has prepared appropriate teaching materials for these students that they will learn from at the beginning of the school year.
