MP Daniela Markovska from the ranks SDSM has rejected all claims that Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski has any involvement in the Pixel Group, a company that the opposition VMRO-DPMNE on Sunday accused of being owned by the Prime Minister and part of an embezzlement scheme.
“Specifically for this company PiKCELL Group Doo Skopje, Dimitar Kovachevski is not a part of the ownership structure, nor is he the owner. Already on 28.09.2020, Dimitar Kovachevski fully withdrew the amount of financial assets invested to ensure the initial liquidity of the company. It was announced publicly, so that he could fully devote himself to the position he held at the time, Deputy Minister of Finance. All this can be seen in the Prime Minister’s asset declaration,” said Markovska.
