The number of workers in the industry in the period January – September 2022 compared to the same period last year decreased by 1.5 percent, while in September 2022 compared to September 2021 it recorded a decrease of 0.4 percent.
As announced by the State Statistics Office (SSO), the number of workers in the Mining and Quarrying sector in September 2022 compared to September 2021 recorded a decrease of 3.3 percent, in the Manufacturing Industry sector a decrease of 0.2 percent, and in the sector Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply down 0.3 percent.
