Within the framework of the future chairmanship of the largest Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe – OSCE and in his capacity as the current chairman of the group of Mediterranean partners for cooperation of the OSCE, Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic Sameh Hassan Shukri Selim in Cairo, Egypt on Sunday.
As the Ministry informed, the traditionally good friendly relations between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally, were established at the meeting, and opinions were also exchanged on the further development of the overall cooperation.
At the same time, Osmani informed the interlocutor about the priority goals of Macedonia within the framework of the OSCE chairmanship in 2023, they discussed intensifying cooperation with the group of Mediterranean partners, especially that the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the burdened geopolitical environment highlight even more the importance of the Mediterranean partners, as a unique arrangement offered by the OSCE for the exchange of good practices, dialogue and sharing of experiences, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
