VMRO-DPMNE absolutely remains on the request for snap parliamentary elections in the new year as well, because it is necessary for this government of DUI and SDSM to leave so that Macedonia can move forward, said opposition party leader Hristijan Mickoski, in front of the “St. Clement of Ohrid” cathedral, while answering media questions.
“There is absolutely no change in that request. Absolutely, snap parliamentary elections are necessary for Macedonia to move forward. That’s why I want us to unite around that and go out together to support snap parliamentary elections that will take place in the middle or the second half of May this year at the latest,” Mickoski said.
The VMRO-DPMNE leader pointed out that the vast majority of MPs from the ruling parties SDSM and DUI publicly reflect the position that they are in favor of snap parliamentary elections.
