A family of four needed 51,235 denars or 832 euros in December, 2022, to meet the minimum monthly expenses.
According to the union basket calculated every month by the Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM), in December 2022 a family of four needed 19,226.11 denars for food and drinks, 13,093.22 denars for housing, 3,050.95 denars for maintenance hygiene, and MKD 3,668.61 for transportation. In December, a family had to allocate MKD 2,255.15 for clothes and shoes, MKD 1,067.86 for cultural events, and MKD 801.29 for health care and hygiene.
