Arsovska, VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM agree: Aid for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey will be decided at an extraordinary session

The catastrophic earthquake in Turkey and its severe consequences were the reason for the Mayor of the City of Skopje Danela Arsovska, as well as the parties VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM to be unanimous.

Everyone expressed sympathy and deep regret for the victims, noting that they submitted a request-initiative for an urgent session of the Council, which will decide on the aid to the victims that will be sent.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed and injured in the catastrophic earthquake in Gaziantep. We also sent a letter of condolence to the mayor of Gaziantep and offered our help. Skopje is a city of solidarity that will never forget the help, support and solidarity of the brotherly Turkish people. We have sent a request to the Council of the City of Skopje that the councilors decide on humanitarian aid for the victims at the next session,” reads the press release issued by the City of Skopje.
