The vetting cannot only apply to judges and prosecutors, it applies to all elected and appointed officials, SDSM party leader Dimitar Kovachevski said Thursday night in his response to the Parliament session.
“We need a vetting because we as a country have not done it for 31 years, because there was no political will. VMRO-DPMNE, you were in power for 11 years, so you didn’t do that,” Kovachevski stressed.
PM Kovachevski announced that the vetting is being discussed and options are being considered to conduct the vetting with the support of the European Union.
