Bakers leave empty market shelves after Government froze bread prices

There is no bread in the shops in Skopje, the shelves are empty. The bakers, although they announced that they will distribute bread until the decision to freeze the price at 33 MKD is published in the Official Gazette, did not supply the grocery shops with bread on Wednesday.
In some of the markets, in the larger commercial chains, the bakers informed them today that they will not deliver bread today and they will sell their old stocks.
According to the managers of the markets, they do not know how today will go, nor do they know if they should make an order for tomorrow.
Although the new frozen prices of 33 MKD have been posted, the market shelves remained empty.
