The application of the Government Decision, which reduces and freezes the prices of toilet paper, sanitary napkins, wet wipes and diapers for children and adults by 13 percent, kicked off this weekend, and in the following days the Government is expected to announce which types of fruits and vegetables will be with frozen and reduced prices.
Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi says that it will probably be known by tomorrow, and that analyzes are still ongoing.
The decision was made last week, and it will be in force, as announced by the Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi, between April 1 and May 31, 2023.
Previously, by decision of the Government, the prices of pasta and dairy products were frozen, which were reduced by 15 and 10 percent, as well as the prices of eggs and rice, which remained at the level of the 15th of this month, while the price of white and the semi-white bread of 450 grams is frozen at MKD 33.
