Hotel arrangements in Ohrid and Struga in the upcoming tourist season will increase in price by 30 percent, say the Association of Hoteliers (HOTAM), adding that there will be price increases for the upcoming Easter holidays as well.
The Association states that the price increase is due to the high prices of products and energy, as well as the higher salaries of employees, in order to dissuade them from going abroad.
“Macedonia remains the cheapest destination in the region despite the increase in the price of services. It is no longer twenty-something euros for a night, but thirty-something euros, and sometimes even more,” saidthe president of HOTAM Krste Blazheski.
