An eight-year-old child has died Tuesday night as a result of an attack by a dog of the English bullmastiff breed, in the yard of a house in the Pintija neighborhood of Skopje. Doctors from the city hospital “Sveti Naum Ohridski” failed to save the child. The child, who was visiting, was attacked after entering the yard of the house of N.G., the owner of the dog. According to other information, however, the tragedy happened after the child approached the yard where the dog was kept by a owner after which it was attacked.
The public prosecutor and teams of the Ministry of Interior were at the scene, and tried to capture the enraged pet, for which the owner had appropriate documentation.
