Saturday night at Skopje International Airport, the state and church delegation was welcomed, which for the first time brought the Holy Fire directly from Jerusalem.
The ceremony in Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the old city of Jerusalem was attended by a large number of delegations from countries around the world, among which, equally, was the Macedonian state and church delegation, which included the Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski, the Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska , the director of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Religious Groups, Darijan Sotirovski, as well as several clerics led by the head of the delegation of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archdiocese, the Tetovo-Gostivar Metropolitan Josif Todorovski.
