The bust of the Macedonian poet Slavko Janevski has disappeared from the pedestal in the Alley of the Poets on the quay at the end of the Crn Drim River. During a routine inspection, on April 19, 2023 (Wednesday) it was determined that the bust of the poet Slavko Janevski was torn from the pedestal, while the busts of the poets Atso Shopov and Sergei Yesenin were visibly damaged in an obvious attempt to tear them from the pedestals.
The disappearance, that is, the theft, was reported to the Struga Police Department by the Struga Poetry Evenings director Todorche Tasevski.
